Im 18 and i have a tonsil stone and i really wanna get rid of it asap/surgery is!
Question: it's causing me pain,my neck hurts,it feels like my throat hurts but it's really my tongue rubbing against it every time i swallow and i can barely talk,and im spitting 24/7 and gargling salt water,last week my right tonsil was swollen and was covered in white and i gargled salt water and it went away and now this past tuesday i wont up with a very bad pain it's driving me crazy,but yesterday i got some thermaflu and it helped the pain a little bit but it still hurts and i have a sinus headache from it,but not until yesterday did i see somthing white on my tonsil on the left side and now it's even more visible where i can really see it,and i gargle salt water 24/7 everday,and im scared to have surgery at the age of 18 because this is my first time having anything wrong with my tonsils and i dont wanna have surgery but if i had to would having it be really painful and take forever to heal and what does it feel like to have that surgery,and can anyone help me please

Tonsil surgery is not that bad really....you get to eat lots of ice cream, pudding, & jello afterwards! I had my tonsils out when I was 4 yrs old so I don't remember really but if the dr is recommending you have them taken out, then I think you should.
