How long does alcohol stay in the blood?!

Question: How long does it to leave the body.

For example a heavy drinking session: 10 pints of stella and three double vodkas.

Answers: How long does it to leave the body.

For example a heavy drinking session: 10 pints of stella and three double vodkas.

depending on the person... 1-3 days... i think

several days. i recommend not drinking it. it puts holes in your liver in access. be careful.

ussually about one shot, or beer an hour

only up to 3 days.

I doesnt stay in the blood, it stays in the urine...thats y they take urine sample

max of 72hours

It takes one hour for the body to process each unit you consume. To be on the safe side take it from the point you stop drinking. (You've consumed up to 30 units in what you mentioned so to be totally sober it will take 30 hours from the point you stopped drinking)

i d k but i want to know...im waiting....

one pint = 1.5 hours
one shot = 1.5 hours

*varies on size and weight/metabolism

will show up in UA's for about a day (be safer and pee in the cup the day after that)

10 pints of stella? That's WAY too much.

Rule of thumb is one beer, or one shot, or one short mixed drink will take one hour to leave your system after drinking it.

Of course, that differs with people, but that's the rule of thumb. In other words, if you have 8 drinks, your blood alcohol level should be close to 0.00 in 8 hours.

depends on how much you've had to drink but between 5 to 6 hours and a high power drink gold tequila

i think it takes an hour to metabolize an ounce of booze. so in other words, it is going to take a while for it to leave and you're going to feel pretty hungover the next day

your body takes 1 hour per every unit of alcohol to get rid of it so if a pint of stella contains 2 units that's 2 hours for 1 pint

I know I would feel the effects of those all day after! It takes the liver about 1 hour to metabolize the average pint,I remember reading this fact a while ago.it largely depends on the person, but I remember being shocked to know that it can be up to 3 days after a good session.Stella is a strong Lager too.

Keep it up and the question will be "how long does blood stay in my alcohol"

Most peoples bodies will clear one unit of alcohol through the kidneys from the bloodstream is one unit of alcohol per hour.

A pint of ordinary (4%) strength lager - 2.3 units
A pint of strong lager - 3 units
A standard 175ml glass of red or white wine - around 2 units
A large 250ml glass of red or white wine - around 3 units
A small (25ml) measure of spirits -1 unit
A 275ml bottled alcopop - 1.5 units

There are several variables involved. This will give you an idea:

FLUID OUNCES CONSUMED (approx).
Beer = 12 oz. - Wine Glass = 4 oz. -
1 Shot = 1.5 oz.
YOUR WEIGHT (in pounds)
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE IN BEVERAGE
Beer = 4-4.5% - Wine = 15-20%
1 Shot = from 30-50%

For almost everyone, impaired physical and mental acuity arrive around the bottom of that first drink. Drinking responsibly means knowing how alcohol affects you and the amount you can drink without endangering yourself or others. A person with a blood alcohol level in the range of .08 to .10 is considered legally intoxicated, (in most states in the USA) and it takes only a few drinks to get there.

This gizmo will calculate your blood alcohol content based upon the quantity of beverages consumed, the alcohol percentage in each drink, your weight, and the time spent drinking. Your liver can metabolize about an ounce of alcohol an hour or about one beer an hour, but this will vary from person to person and according to your weight.

The other answers are interesting! I have read that if you drink a bottle of wine, it will take the body 16 hours to removed the alcohol from your system. The liver is a pretty efficient organ.

Not long enough. I have to have a few most days because it wears off far too quick. Keep drinking and you'll have no worries.

About 2 per hour i think, but if your fit its faster to disperse. I got pulled over by an over zealous cop on my kid brothers fold up electric powered scooter! and id had about ten stellas... anyway.. i failed a breathalyser, they gave me an hour off in the station, and about 70 minutes later i passed it an they let me off. So.. id say if you have a proper strong piss up.. dont drive really early.. (ie finish at 2am and drive at 7) but if you give yourself a good 8 hours off, have a nice big breakfast and drink a few pints of water you would be fine.

Maybe a bit faster depending how big an strong and what shape your in.. but its a risk. So id say leave it a good 8 hours.

Of course, in keeping with other answers, its better to leave it a good 24 hours really before say driving or something.. but after my "adventure" i can say its definately not 3 days like some people said.. if thats the case then ive had alcohol constantly in my blood the last 15 years!

It depends on how much you perspire, urinate and how much water you can drink to flush out your system. That is a lot, I'd say at least a few days, but rehydrate and drink plenty of water-speed it up some.
It is in the blood longer than urine, and yes body mass does play a factor also.

10 pints of Stella is about 25 units, and 3 double vodkas is about 6, that is a total of 31 units. ( 10 above your weekly safe maximum!)

Alcohol is broken down at about 1 unit per hour, from about 1 hour after you stop drinking. This means that it will all be cleared in about 26 hours. Incidentally, you would fail a breathalyser for about 23 hours.

On average it takes about one hour for your body to process one unit of alcohol. This varies depending on your body size, sex and the amount of food in your digestive system. If your liver isn't functioning normally, the process takes longer. One unit of alcohol is roughly equivalent to half a pint of beer, a 25ml (pub) measure of spirit, or two-thirds of a small (125ml) glass of wine. This means that one pint takes your body about two hours to break down, and a large glass of wine (250ml) about three hours - longer if the ABV (alcohol by volume) content is higher than average. So if you have seven pints during a night out, it could take as long as 17 or 18 hours to leave your system

round about 48 hours
