Alright, here's the deal. Cold Sores are a form of Herpes. If you are a cold sore sufferer, you will bee for your entire life. The very best way to treat a cold sore is to take a medication called Valtrex as soon as you feel it coming on and it will stop it in it's tracks immediately and allow it to start healing. You will only need to take two doses to break the "dna string" as my doctor explained to me. Just keep a prescription on hand so you can take one as soon as you feel the "tingle".
