Left-side rib pain?!

Question: I have had a stabbing pain in my left side of my lower rib cage for a little over a year now. I have been to the ER, my family doc, a rheumatologist, and a gastroentorologist. I have had 2 xrays, a cat scan, and blood work. Yet, the pain is still undiagnosed.
It is a sharp stabbing pain that comes randomly. It can (but isn't always) triggered by physical activity. Im hoping someone here has an idea of possible causes, or similar situations.
Thank you :-)

You didn't say if you have tried going to a chiropractor your spine could be out of alignment. I have had this type of pain myself and I found the best help came from the chiropractor. I lived with this and other pain from a back injury for a long time as I didn't believe in chiropractor for a long time until I went to one.

Could be pancreatic pain which is not flared up when you have the tests.
