How i can quit smoking?!

Question: Ha. Smoking sucks. If you smoke a lot (a pack a day or more) don't try to go cold turkey. Pick a time to smoke each day... during an activity where you enjoy smoking. like if you enjoy having a smoke while you drink coffee then only smoke whenever you have a cup of coffee and at no other time. Now don't drink coffee all day but choose times to drink it. When you wake up - lunch - before bed. During the non coffee time don't think about it and replace your urges with something else like chewing on a toothpick or putting a piece of dental floss in your mouth and playing with it using your tongue. This sounds stupid but both acts will get you through your craving because you know coffee time is coming eventually. Set some rules. No smoking in the house - no smoking in the car - Whatever the rules they should be made to limit the time you smoke.
After a week or two of cutting your cigs down dramatically you will be able to cut them down again. Maybe only smoke when you wake and before you go to sleep. After a couple weeks of this you won't even care if you smoke or not.
Keep a smoking journal so you can see your results and reward yourself for cutting down and eventually quitting. Use the money you would have spent on cigarettes for something you want (not need).
Patches, gum, pills and all that stuff can help also.
You've acquired an addiction and you associate certain things to smoking plus you probably enjoy it even though you are smart enough to know it is terrible for you. So now it's time to learn not to smoke. Good luck.

Perhaps you should contact the Quitline and join a Quit Smoking Clinic.

Go back in time to before you took your first hit, but this time dont take the hit. ;)

Think about the cancer you can get from it. Umm you can replace it with something else, like instead of smoking work out, eat, watch TV...something like that. Think about little kids w/ cancer though. That is sooo sad...gets me everytime, but not w/ smoking.

yes, go to a health clinic of quit smoking da bad stuff for real man,, also, try substitute that habbit for another one, actually thats how it works"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""...

There are lots of ways. You could try patches, or nicotine gum. You could also contact a self-help organisation. You seem to want to give up, so you're half way there.

Try one of the above if you don't feel that you would succeed by willpower alone, but you might. You never know until you try. Good luck.

You 're already on the first step; desire,
Next prepare and set a quit date.
Then quit.
Also many methods that involve hypnosis, pills etc..; but basically most people quit on their own. Painful...oh yes, but worth it.

Just stop doing it. Willpower. Its how I did it. Former 2 pack a day smoker, been clean 5 years.

try nicorette gums, i wanna quit smoking to but it seems i can't
