Sorry to hear you're having to go through such agony. I know what it feels like to have that kind of pain because that was my experience when I was about 20 years old. I had been having unusual periods, sometimes too few, sometimes too many. I also had the cramping you are describing. In my case it turned out to be what they call a Dermoid Cyst. Its a harmless, fluid filled cyst containing of all things, oils, and bone and hair! They say I was born with it. Because it had grown to the size of a plum, it began to affect me physically AND hormonally. Physically, it was causing pain because it began pressing against nearby organs and nerve cells. And hormonally, it stopped the usual monthly ovulation, which in turn caused the abnormal periods.

You didn't mention your age, but if you have been sexually active, you would of course want to check for a possible pregnancy, either through a good home kit, or with a doctor, if you are able to so. If the test is negative (you should take a couple a week apart to be sure) you should then try to get to a doctor who can test you for any sexually transmitted diseases. These are much more common than people realize, and is no reflection of your moral character. But its crucial that you get this resolved because you could be affecting your fertility and ability to one day become pregnant.

Also, try to take notice of what other symptoms you are having. For example, does it burn when you urinate? If so, could be a urine infection, or an STD. Does your discharge appear gray, white, thick, or lumpy? If so, it could be a yeast infection. Both of these conditions are quite common in women, but do require treatment. A urine infection or an STD
will require antibiotics, and a yeast or fungal infection would require fungal medications as well. Hopefully it won't be anything too serious and it will go away in time. But if it doesn't, you must get some medical attention. And if and when you do go see a physician and they rule out infection as the cause, demand that they perform an ultrasound on you to see it you could possibly have any tumors, cysts, or fibroids. It is a painless, non-invasive test that only takes minutes. And you'll want to see an ob/gyn, instead of a general practitioner, as this is their specialty. If you have no insurance, check the internet for public resources that may be available to you. There is no reason for you to suffer and worry like this. There are people out there who can and will help. Good luck to you and I hope everything turns out well!

You should always make sure you're not pregnant. That's first and foremost! Then if that's not it, I would say you need to relax. Stress can and will delay your period. I think after a week and still no period you should go to the doctors to make sure everything is ok.

You didn't say exactly where the pain is and if the pain is in the rib area at the same time it is in the lower stomach, and if it is on the same side.

Being you had two periods late last month/early this month, I would suspect you should see a GYN. Sounds like a possible ovary problem and you shouldn't let it slide.

The ovary should be located in the "belly" area of your stomach, to the right or left of your naval about 2 inches.
A stabbing pain in this area would likely be the ovary.

Sometimes pain does radiate to other areas of the body for no known reason.

Please, get it checked out soon.
