switch off from ice cubes and cough/cold lozenges which have a numbing medicine-doesn't last for a long time, but switching a medicated cough drop and ice might make u not feel it as bad. hope u feel better!
Both of my sisters had strep throat and they both ate lots popsicles to help numb the pain they had.
