How do you clean your inner ear???!

Question: safely?

Thanx!!

Answers: safely?

Thanx!!

No not peroxide!! there are safe over the counter remedies that you can just buy simply from the chemist. In australia we have a product called audiclean. It desperses wax and cleans the inner ear. Dont use cue tips as they can only push the wax deeper and in turn cause a blockage. Consult your chemist if your not from aus, you're sure to have some sort of treatment available that is similar.

diluted peroxide

You can't clean the inner ear. Its located behind the ear drum.

Go to your family doctor and they can use a "candle " to melt the wax out of your ear.
It feels really good

No joke just ask

QUTIP... =OP at least I tried.

good luck....until get the beers in!!

The 'candle' actually doesn't work.. it just looks like it does... Actually it's quite dangerous due to the risk of hot wax dripping into your ear.

Use a q-tip... or, one of the solutions they make for that job :) You can probably find something like that in your local drugstore, or walmart or something.

Cranial trepanation would be the only way.
The inner ear is in the brain beyond ear drum.
Maybe you are thinking of something else?

The candle does feel very good, and works... as far as I have discovered.. Hopefully you are talking about your ear canal, and that place where all the wax seems to hang out. It is never a good idea to put any thing smaller than your elbow down there. You can damage your eardrum. Doctors have the tools. The ear candle can be bought at any Holistic pharmacy. If the wax is bothering you, make an appointment and have the doctor use his specially made tools to clean it out. The ear candle helps, but it doesn't remove all the wax. A cotton swab is OK for the outer ear, like the little seashell you can see. If you try to reach the yuck stuff, you can cause trouble with your hearing, by pushing the wax further down the canal.
It is always BEST to have another person with you if you use the ear candle. ALWAYS..while they aren't like regular candles, there is no danger of wax dripping down your neck, however, there is still a danger of setting your hair on fire..that would be bad. Have a friend help you out..
