Does this sound like something really bad? Any help is apprecated.?!

Question: About a year ago I got this odd bruise on my leg that is still there today but its faded a bit. Then about six months after getting the bruise I started getting leg pains, like tingling and a bit of burning on the inside of my leg. It started getting worse so I went to see a doctor because I thought it could be a blood clot. He said it was nothing! Um yeah its defiantly something. Two months ago I got really worried so I went to the ER because it started hurting alot, the doctor there examined it and had a ultrasound done on it and said it was fine. Now I'm feeling really weird pains in my calf upper thigh and bottom of foot. What in the world could this be? Should I be worried even though the ER said it wasn't a blood clot? Theres no discoloration and no swelling that I notice anyways. Any suggestions are very much appreciated

Sometimes the body has an unusual way of protecting itself from danger. One way is to build up a callous or cyst, to protect against an injury. This may have happen. You may have a cyst in there. If it stats bothering you, see a good doctor, have a MRI or ultra scan. maybe have it taken out. All humans have as many as eleven of these somewhere, even though we're not aware of some, in or on our bodies.
They usually don't mean anything unless they start pressing against a nerve or ? If it continues to grow you'll have to have it removed but, remember , your going to have a scar and, there's no guarantee it won't grow back.

If you go back to the ER, make sure they do more than glance and poke at it. Make sure they do some kind of ultrasound type test to make sure there isn't some sort of deep tissue damage. Bruises don't normally last that long, and I'd say that would be cause for some concern. Good luck to you, and hope you find relief soon. :)

try another dr. im not sure what it could be but if your having strange pains then it must be something! it may not be a blood clot but its something that needs to be looked at again! get another opinion and see what happens! its your body and you know what your feeling. a dr. doesnt!!
