Constipation,any great remedies?!


Question: Ive been having severe issues with this.I go so long with out cleaning myself out that virtually all my insides hurt as well as my hips and back.I get very irritable and hurt so bad.When I do go my stools are always very odd in color and are never complete.Any ideas please help me.

drink 2 glasses of warm water, you prolly drink to much caffine and not enough water. Everytime I get constipated I drink @ glass of hot water with-in 20 min? you got it

try it, but be careful of laxatives if you use them to much you may need them all the time.

you must have low fibre & liquid in your diet. eat more vege, fruits & water!

As sauberli says eat lots of fibre like All Bran for breakfast. Lots of fruit and veg and drink lots of water. I think a visit to the doctors would definitely be in order if you have been suffering for so long.

Being a truck driver for over 30 years, this is constatly a problem. As crazy as this may sound, one of the best things that helps me is, if you can believe it, is simply a good, strong cup of coffee. Seems to work every time. But, allow time for it to work. Don't drink the coffee and take off working. Give it time to work.

Sounds like you need to add not only fiber, but also 2 - 3 glasses of water/day to your diet. Of course when all else fails there is enemas, which are FAST acting and never fail to produce results. Stay away from laxatives, they do more harm than good.

ok, if your stool is hard - drink water, eat fruits, drink hot tea every morning. - that will help and it is proven. dont eat things which are hard, eg, if you eat a french bread - drink water afterwards and make sure you chew it properly

if your stool is very soft - eat something hard - drink less water on that. it is better to have soft stool than hard stool.

yopu basically want your stool to be normal (soft but not too soft).

hot lemon juice in the morning or hot strong coffee works nice for me.

I also eat prunes quite a lot, about 7pcs everyday; lots of water, high fiber (like bran) and papaya works wonders.

abdominal exercises too.
