Yes. many people snort it, or just take it by mouth. It's a pretty dull high; some people claim their body feels seperated from their mind or they just plain "feel good".

Yes you can take Hydrocodone(Vicadin) to get high, its a narcotic pain reliever and any kind of narcotic will do that if you take more than the reccomended dose, sometimes even the reccomended dose could do it, depends on how you body metabolizes it. I would not reccomend taking anything to get "high", it can lead to a powerful, life threatning addiction. I have known several people who were addicted to painkillers and it completely wrecked there life and there health. Stay away from drugs.....its not worth it.

Some people abuse it because it can produce a calm, euphoric state similar to heroin or morphine; however, in the long run it can cause severe liver damage/failure. It should only be taken short-term if prescribed by a doctor for a medical condition.

yes as an ex opiate addict people do ever heard of syrup one kind of syrup is hydrocodone syrup it is highly addictive and hard to get off of most people require rehab or replacement drug the withdrawls are horrible close to that of heroin or alcohol

Yes people take hydrocodone to get high. It is not good because it can really mess you up bad. Along with your kidneys and liver.

Vicodin, makes me tired at times. I've been on it for years for severe degenerative arthritis and, severe permanent neurological damages. I have been in pain for 14 years. I sleep about two to three hours a night. I can't remember being without pain.

I have never felt "high" from it. I have gone off it at times for days and weeks, tried the patches and other stuff. I have turned down Percocet and other drugs, and a pain pump.

Maybe some do get high, I don't know, I do know they can be habit forming. I get a blood check every six weeks.

I know of others like me that have no other way to control pain. Some that point their finger have no idea what it's like to cry half the night due to extreme pain. The one that hurt are the ones that misuse the drug, making it hard for the ones that need it to control their lives.

Oh! and, by the way, the Vicodin does not take all the pain away, it keeps me on edge, I know it's there, it's just waiting. I wait until it gets to much to handle. Only as needed.

Some of these people are very judgmental, have they ever been in my position or, needed help with pain?
