you may want to visit a doctor or chiropractor to get it checked just to be safe.

some simple things you can do for yourself at home:
~~when walking, standing or sitting, focus on keeping your back straight, neck and head held back and shoulders back and down--a good way to learn how to do this is to stand up straight against a wall, your head and shoulders should be right up against the wall--

(a lot of people make the mistake of stooping and this is what can lead to poor posture as well as headaches, backaches, etc. make sure to pay attention to yourself and if you catch yourself doing this remember to stand up tall, roll your shoulders down and backward. again remember to use a wall to help you)

~~while standing or sitting up tall and straight, squeeze your shoulder blades back towards each other--make sure not to raise your shoulders, keep them down, hold for 3-5 seconds and then let go, repeat 10-15 times

~~lying your stomach, lift your left arm and right leg straight out (as if you are swimming), make sure not to life up toward the ceiling, but straight out

hold this position for 3-5 seconds and then switch to the opposite arm and leg, repeat both sides 1-15 times

hope this helps

Just do it and always think about it, think of a punishment for yourself if you don't do well that day

Start now! The effects of poor posture goes far beyond just looking awkward. In fact according to the January 1994 issue of the American Journal of Pain Management, Posture and function are related in that poor posture is evident in patients with chronic pain related conditions including back pain, headache, and stress-related illnesses.
