You need to immerse the burn in cold water to stop the burning process, not warm water. Also Vaseline is not a good thing to put on burns because it tends to hold the heat in and keeps air out. You can put aloe vera or any of the over the counter burn gels or sprays on it to keep it moisturized and help with the pain. Make sure to wash it with antibacterial soap and water daily and watch for signs of infection such as redness around the burn that is spreading, increasing pain, if the area feels warm to the touch, if you notice pus or a foul smell, or if you run a fever. Burns can get infected very easily so just keep an eye on it.

use aloe...it works AHMAZING!!!
it cools it down and then helps it not to sting anymore.
and if not ...
MAYBE sunburn lotion. cuz it works as a cooling gel...and it wont burn at all anymmore...then keep it bandaged and whatever

Put it on cold water- its going to hurt for a few days.

When ever you get a burn minor or not get it under COLD water fast for as long as 15 to 20 minutes. You want to stop the burning that's going on, you have 7 layers of skin you have to cool all of them. After that you can than put some Aloe Vera or Vaseline on it. BUT FIRST YOU HAVE TO STOP THE BURNING!!!!!
