Runny eye problem?!

Question: I have had a runny eye only one side for a few days now, and can't seem to get it to stop, I tried allergy medicine and drops, but nothing is helping and with the cold wintery weather out there it's making my cheek chapped. any ideas?

most probably an infection by bacteria, where the tear glands are responding to the bacteria and trying to flush them out, my advise is to see a doctor. do get well soon.
