Where to cure if nail grows into toe?!
Question: Hi,
My nail grows into one of my toes and it really hurts, even if I m not walking.
I am currently in a business travel in NY and I dont have enough time to go to hospital and wait in a long queue. Is there any place else I can go. Like clinic specially for foot sth.? Do pedicure ppl do this, to help me cut the nail.Any recommendations?

Sorry to say, but those who do pedicures cannot treat ingrown toenails. It is a medical procedure and you will have to see a doc. Gone untreated, it can get infected. Sometimes they get so bad, surgery is required to narrow the nail or to reduce the size of the lateral nail fold. Do yourself a favor, take some time for yourself and have it taken care of before it's gets worse because it won't get better on it's own. In the meantime, if you can, wear a wider shoe, This will help alleviate some pain. Feel better
If your whole toenail is grown in, then i don't know how to help you, but if its just on the side of your toenails, you can cut a triangle in the front middle of your toenail, I know it sounds stupid. But it worked for me awhile ago.
You must visit you surgeon as soo as possible if want to know peace. That condition is a very painful one. Pedicure will not help you at all. This is known as ingrowing toenail. Make an appointment with your surgeon as your next business trip may be very uncomfortable
