Is it ok to take advil and excedrin at the same time?!


Question: I took some advil about 3 hours ago for a headache.. but now the headache has gotten worse and turned into a migraine. The only thing that helps my migraines is excedrin, but I don't know if I should take it yet since the advil is still in my system.

Yes, it's OK, especially if the Excedrin doesn't contain ibuprofen.

My dentist recommended a combination of ibuprofen and acetaminophen for pain.
