Why does a paper cut seem to hurt more than other comparable minor injuries?!

Question: The fingers have many pain receptors in them, paper cuts do not bleed much so the exposure to the air irritates them more. There is also fibres in paper and possibly bleach as well, so this will irritate it more as well.

The best thing to do is to cover with a plaster or liquid plaster so as to keep the air away from it.

But, yes, they are annoying and utter agony when they happen.

What a great (and funny) question. I bet just about everyone has wondered this at some time or another. I'll be watching for the answers. Any ideas from Dr Frank maybe????

paper cuts hurts the most because you are using ur hands a for almost everything and the more you move your hand, the more it would hurt because your pulling the skin[not intenonaly]

also, minor injurires hurt because its reminding you taht you have a cut.

hope this helps,
