I sprained my ankle on Saturday, now I'm exhausted?!

Question: I sprained my ankle on Saturday. Went into Urgent Care Sunday and got x-rays and medicine...Ibuprofen 800mg and Tramadol 50mg. Took both pills on a full stomach at 2pm and had a SEVERE reaction to the tramadol. Medics came and everything. They didn't take me in as they said it was a "common" side effect, but it sure didn't feel right.
Anyway, got to bed around 8pm, woke up at 6am. Rested most of day.
My question is...why am I so tired? I took a 2 hour nap today and I still feel like doing nothing but sleeping? Could the Tramadol still be in my system? Or is it just the healing process? It's a grade 3 sprain and I have a brace for 2 weeks. Can't walk on it yet.
Thanks.

Sounds to me like it's just the healing process. Your body is expending energy trying to heal. The best thing you can do is get as much rest as possible and stay off your ankle. Just take the ibuprofen for pain and swelling. Hope you are better soon.

put the brace on it and ice it and elveated highrer then the heart take nonasprin for the pain ok liz
