My toe HURTS!!!?!

Question: I thought that I had an ingrown nail on my big toe. But when I looked tonight, there is no toenail in there thats not supposed to be...
It's all red and swollen like from the bottom of my nail to about halfway up it, and when I look between the nail and skin, its dark reddish like a dried blood color.
I know this is all really gross, but do you guys have any suggestions to what could be wrong? And how could I make it not hurt so much?

i am no doctor but maybe your boyfriend can use his magic hands and make it feel better..but that would mean you have to go see him..

Yes, its an ingrown toenail, I had to deal with those when I was younger. To get it taken care of , you have to go to a doctor that deals with this stuff. He will numb your toe, give you numbing shots, and cut the side of the toenail off from top all the way to the bottom.

Its very nerveracking during the procedure, but its not actually that bad, and heals quite fast.

I have not had a problem with ingrown toenails since I had gotten it done. I had the same exact problems your explaining, I couldn't touch it, it was red, pusy, and bloody.

Even though you don't think its an ingrown, it is.

Oh, in the meantime, soak your foot in Warm Water that has Hydrogen Peroxide in it, , that will do a lot of help to that toe. Thats what I did and it helped alot.
