We should get at least 8 hours of sleep every day. Sleeping allows our body to be "replenished" & to be able to function properly. Since you're an adolescent sleep is very important since you're growing. During sleep it's when your body releases "Growth hormone" needed for proper development. I hope this helps. -dennisMD

on the weekends check to see how long u slept, and see how long u can sleep untill u cant sleep no more, thts about how much sleep ur body wants... but u can take off a few extra hours

roughly 8 hrs.

You need between 10-12 hours a night. (Teenagers are still growing, and their brains are still developing so sleep is really important.) If you can't get that much sleep during the night, try getting a nap in during the afternoon.

optimum 8 hrs r needed, mental disturbance, unfit can affect ur sleep.

8.5 hours min.

Honestly, everyone needs a different level of sleep depending on their matabolism, level of activity, calorie intake, foods they eat, whether they are currently in a growing cycle. It just istn't a simple answer and doesn't have a simple equation.

8 hours minimum.... depending on how much work you have at school or after school activities, you may need more or less sleep...... but no matter what, the more hours of sleep you get, the better, especially at a young age...

According to the American Sleep Disorders Association, the average teenager needs around 9.5 hours of sleep per night, possibly because hormones that are critical to growth and sexual maturation are released mostly during slumber. Yet studies show that teenagers generally get an average of only 7.4 hours a night. This is far short of the desired quota for healthy teens.

between 8-10 hours until you are 19

7-9 hours

8 hours p.d

7-8 hours a day to make sure you have enough sleep so you don't be really tried in the moring.

You need at least 8 full hrs of sleep, now thats at the least to be fully fuctional and get your brain working properly for tests, memory, and to function well enough to make good choices. So yes its important to get enough sleep.

aim for 10 hours a night really. I need about 12 hours to not feel tired as hell during the day.

The true test is to see how long u can sleep and not sleep any longer on the weekend r something.
