Does anyone out there take Topamax?!

It is used frequently for neuropathic pain and headaches as well as seizures and bipolar disorder.
The most significant complaint I get is about the mental confusion and memory issues. I also had this problem and had to stop the medication, as I could not remember which patients I had just seen.
Overall, I think it is a good medication, in those patients who are not bothered by the side effects.

My grand son did for a while. It is for seziures. Really works. You can also use it for other things you might have. Read the label on what it can be used for.
Sure. I use Topamax myself. Out of all the other seizure medications that the Dr's. have had me on, and there have been a lot, Topamax seems to work the best for me so far.
It can also be used in the treatment of manic behaviour in bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness), and other uses also.
I take it for migrains and siezures.It doesnt work for me but good as a diretic it is good but way to expensive for that only. i have been taking it on and off for 2yrs
Nope, I do not.....
My son took it for his headaches and gained 20lbs. He is on another medication now which works as well and no weight gain. It works differently on different folks.
