Are you under stress, a high achiever. You might be getting panic attacks. Rule out anything physical, you do not have a viral infection or pneumonia. (you lungs shrink and do not fill with liquid) No fever or infection. Get checked by another doctor, that can be objective and rule out everything physical.

You are a teen, with stresses all around you and your body is trying to tell you something. Listen to it.

i kinda have some times like that. i don't know what to do about it, either, but good luck!

I've experienced exactly what you're describing... and it was panic attacks.

However, you should get checked out by your doctor to make sure that nothing more serious is going on (not that these sensations aren't serious enough). This will also reassure you (panic attacks can be absolutely terrifying, but not fatal).

By "your physician" I mean not your dad, there are good reasons why physicians shouldn't treat close relatives including a lack of objectivity and the fact that they shouldn't prescribe drugs to relatives.
