Does anyone know a way to have more energy during the day?!

Question: I usually go to sleep around 10 30 and I get up at 5 30 but it is so hard to really get going in the morning and then throughout the day until about 12 I am really really sleepy, yawning and having trouble staying awake during class. But after that, I am wide awake, and especially late at night, I am full of energy. Does anyone know any foods, vitamins, or anything else that will make me be more energetic during the earlier morning time?

First, make sure you drink a lot of water during the day. Stay away from coffee because it is only a temporary fix and will make you crash later on. I always make an apple part of my morning breakfast. It is actually proven that an apple in the morning is more effective than coffee. Be sure to eat complex carbs in the morning and for lunch to keep you energy levels up and steady (insulin is responsible for this). I eat oatmeal and whole grain bread with my sandwiches. You can also start taking a multivitamin to boost energy. The real vitamins for energy, though, are B vitamins. You should be able to get just a complex B vitamin formula if you don't want to take a multivitamin like Centrum or One A Day, for example. Also, stay as active as you can. To stay energetic, you need to spend energy. Sit up straight, focus as much as you can, and walk briskly from class to class. I hope this helps. These have all worked for me. Good luck!

1) I think you should exercise in the morning
2 ) you should have a complete breakfast

If you have a healthy breakfast it gives you fuel to operate until lunch. You need protein to keep your blood sugar up.
Also, if you take minerals in a vitamin it helps a lot.
There is a vitamin out by Jamieson called Stamina. THAT really helps too.
Everyone has a low point in their day. It's different for everyone.
You may try having a cola with caffiene at that point to get you through, although cola's are known to take the rust right off a nail...so imagine what it does to you.
Hope I helped.

the most important thing is to take your breakfast.
you can try banana, it is rich in potassium which gives you energy.

tryin,, vitamin B 12, exercise. If you have a busy schedule, try a energy drink, red bull is one.
