Seeing a family doctor who happens to be family?!
Question: My brother's a doctor, and our mom is considering using him instead as her general doctor. I find the thought weird and personally think she should see a different doctor that's not a blood relative. What do you think?

I do believe that is a conflict of interest and he is legally not allowed to care for or prescribe medications for your mother, at least in Illinois it is.

If he is a goog doctor .go ahead,but if you live in quebec. a brother is not allowed to be consulted by members of his family..
