Help Please!....my eye hurts?!
Question: over the weekend i was playing basketball with my friends on an open court...it was breezy and at one point there was so much, i got dust into my eye
it started itching quite a bit and i started tearing up so i returned home
3 days later, it has somehow "swollen"/"flared" out a little bit
its on my right eye and its towards the nose but right underneath my eye under the slight skin area where its/whitish/pinkish
im experiencing a litte bit of pain but its itchy mostly and its blocking my vision on my right eye a little bit...its prolly like 1cm but its really itchy and my right eye is pink
i just tought id take a nap and wake up and i'll be fine but i could barely oopen my right eye after waking up...its sticky and it hurts when i blink
its very uncomfortable staring into the monitor also
Last week was first week of school and i spent most of my money on books and stuff and next week we have 1st round of midterm (quarter system)...can't go to doctor
what can i do from home

what can i do from home
Don't rub it anymore! Use a warm compress and place it on your eye a few times a day. Use some eye or saline drops a few times a day. If you don't see improvement in the next day or two you may need medical attention as you may have an infection and need antibiotics. Does your campus have a nurse on site? Most do, even just to get it checked out. Do so asap as you may be past home remedies already.
Don't mess around with your eyes.
Not seeing the doctor = losing your vision or disfigurement around your eye!
Flush it with water but better to get you an eye wash kit from Wal-Mart or any store really. Stop rubbing as that has made it much worse. See your eye doctor as soon as possible!
If you have any saline solution or eye wash, rinse out you're eyes. If that still doesn't help, try a warm compress for a while. If you're eye stil hurts, see a doctor.
It appears you have an eye infection and you should seek a doctor ASAP! Letting this prolong itself could only make matters worse, it could actually be a multitude of different things, the most frightning being an air bourne desease of some sort. So, get in and see your doctor as soon as you can. Good Luck!
Oh my golly gosh are you ok... I would say Conjunctivitus. any normal person would go to the doctor so go you stupid idiot or it will only get worse!! Im not being mean but you need to go, because he will give you eye drops and be able to soothe your eye ok.
you probly have a [STY] i had it before and it itches but it hurts when you try to itche it just go to the store and look for a cream called eye sty
well you definately need to see an eye doctor ASAP.. but in the time you should bathe your eye in warm water.. and also put a wash cloth under hot water and then ring it out a little and lay it over your eyes(make sure your eyes are closed) and let it sit there for a few minutes.. it may hurt a little(like an ache) but it should help... you must of gotten something in your eye that blew in with the dust and it got infected... but go to an eye doctor as soon as you can...
You definitely have what is known as pink eye and need anti biotic drops from an ophthalmologist.Get going, this is nothing to fool around with.
Hey Pj..you probably have conjunctivitis...and its highly contagious..I had it and it sucks balls...you HAVE to get a Rx to make it go away...you cant do anything from home :(..if you wear contacts..use your glasses instead. It got worse from you rubbing it. If it helps, try relaxing your eyes and put a warm damp towel on them...but make sure not to get burned. I feel so bad for you...I know what you are going thru. I know your in Cali...are there any clinics that you can go to?? STOP touching your eyes!!! I'm gonna include some links and tell me which one it looks like
