Pregnant with heartburn??????!
Question: I need some kind of home remedy to fix heartburn. i cannot leave for the store to get in the tums because the kids are in bed and i dont know anyone in this town so i cant get anything deliverd. doed anybody know how to relive heart burn with a home remedy?????????????????

try baking soad water
Milk and soda crackers.
~I took tums for mine... which you will probably be getting tomorrow.
My best guess would be milk... and try to sleep in a more upright position...
OH yea, mix a little baking soda in some water. trust me, it will work even better than tums
when my wife was pregnant the only thing that would help her was hard peppermint candy and milk with saltines
Get some peppermint tea if you have it at home, hot water is a good remedy,just careful not to burn yourself. When you can get to store get some peppermint cordial and dilute that same as orange juice with warm water, a small glass sipped slowly will help and taste better than some of the remedies. Careful of over the counter stuff if you pregnant. Heres hoping for heart burn free days
baking soda and water, the directionsshould be on the box.
Also my OB doc told me , when i was in my 8th and 9th month to always lay on my left side, putting the stomach in its best postion to empty. I still do it today when i have trouble and it really helps
