does the same thing to me. In fact almost all prescription narcotics make my nose itch. I believe most all people have the same reaction to it. Don't know why though.

Does the same exact thing for me! I would think that it had something to do with the interaction of dulling the pain, but I'm not sure. I take benedryl for it and I'm fine.
It is called a side effect. If it bothers you too much, ask your doctor to try another analgesic.
