go get some acupuncture or shiatsu (Japanese acupressure massage)

go for a swim, exercise helps believe it or not. So does fresh air.

avoid any food that is fried, also chocolate, coffee, cheese and red wine (all alcohol really but especially red wine), and pork.

Chew radishes, raw radishes, any kind of radish, red, white or black. If you can't get radishes even turnip will help. Take a bit and chew it for a long time until it has no taste. Swallow all the juice and swallow the radish pulp. Have a few bites at a time and do it about 3 or 4 times a day.

If you know anyone who has psilocybin (magic) mushrooms, some people have reported them to be helpful for extreme headache pain, in small doses (not enough to trip on).

Lavender or rosemary oil on your pillow may help. Meditation can also help, lie down somewhere dark and quiet- it's usually what people want to do anyway with a migraine- and breathe slowly and deeply. Perhaps you can breathe deeply down deep into your toes. Shift yur attention in turn around to different areas of your body. Yes your head hurts, what else is going on? Is your neck stiff, how are your shoulders? What's your belly doing? Can you feel underneath your knees, how about where your fingernails grow from? Is anywhere itchy? Or hot or cold? Can you smell anything? Just taking the focus to other areas of your body can help. You can also try concentrating on the pain. Where exactly is it? Does it stay the same or change? Does it move? Does it sprout out from one place and get bigger and branch out elsewhere? Does it ever lessen in intensity? Does it have a texture, does it throb, is it sharp? Maybe you can find a level in your body, maybe under your heart somewhere, where you can drop your consciousness down into, below the level of the pain. Try it and see, this works for me.

Soaking your feet in a bucket of hot water can help (try a drop of a herb oil in) or a handful of salt. Foot massage, especially between the big toe and the second to. There is a very painful point there when someone has a migraine. Massage this point, sometimes the migraine gives up and goes away.

Breathe slowly and try not to get agitated if the pain is really bad. Good luck!

I had severe migraines once a month or more and didnt know why. I often had to visit the emergency room to get a shot to make it stop. I found that my migraines were caused by a compound caled sulfites(sodium sulfite, bisulfite, metabisulfite) added to food and drink to prevent mold and to maintain whiteness in foods. This is a list of foods that contain these compounds:
Lemon juice concentrate-"Real Lemon"
coconut
wines
horseradish
frozen/previously frozen seafood
chinese food
This is not a complete list, but check ingredient labels and see if any of these ingredients are in the food item. I find that lemon juice concentrate is used in lot of sauces, dressings and baked foods. This causes me terrible migraines with the light fractals, nausea, and other symptoms. Google the words "migraine and sulfites " you'll be glad you did.

not enough information.1. have you been under any stress lately.2.are they reoccuring.3.how long do they last.
