Agh ! ran 5 miles today, so sore, will i be ready for my 40push up test on frida!


Question: For my weight training class this whole week we are basically being tested on everything. Today we got tested on running 5miles under 50mins. I did it in 46minutes but man i was so tired. right now im so sore, and i was gonna just do a set of 40push ups just to practice for our 40push up test but i was so sore / aching i could barely do any. Do you think by Friday i will be okay? I know i can do the 40push ups but man my body is just aching right now. It probably doesnt help that last night i only slept 3hrs also because of homework n stufff, and then had to start my 5miles around 8am. Anything i can do to help my body out so i can kick *** in that test on friday?

you should be fine...just keep stretchin out your muscles

you have woken muscles that don't get used too often. don't over do it, 'PAIN DOES NOT MEAN GAIN' just the opposite in fact! Be very careful, you can do a lot of damage if you don't do these things the right way.

Do warm up and take breaks in between.
