Pain in right shoulder/neck! HELP!?!

Question: Okay I have this pain that runs from my shoulder up into the side of my neck. I have had it off and on for awhile. Seems to hurt after I start working out again. I also have a knot in the right side of my upper back that I think might have a part in it. I have had this "knot" sense I was in the army. I have had the GF rub the hell outta it and it seems to improve a bit. I guess what I am wondering if it's a pinched nerve and if theres some kinda home remedy I can try. I don't have the money or ins to go to the DR. Any help would be great, if yo uneed more details just e mail me please! military_police_guy@yahoo.com
Thanks

you probably just pulled a muscle, give yourself a break from working out for a bit and see if it gets better. You could put a ice pack or heating pad on it &take advil if its getting bad. But rest it and go see and doctor if its not gone after a couple days. Hope i helped :D

if you are interested try electric therapy just email me at cecilio624@yahoo.com I am an electric therapist.
