I would say it's not normal. It's excessive. (Polyuria). I'm not so sure it's different for men & women, but has to do with conditions you might have that would cause you to pee a lot.
It might mean a Urinary tract infection; diabetes;kidney problems,over active bladder, etc.

Your bladder should be able to hold urine for at least 2 hours and that's with urge incontinence.

Are you diabetic?
It's not normal. Most ppl go a few hours without peeing, unless they are pregnant of course. You should see your doctor. You may have an over active bladder or diabetes.
