Mild Back/Spine pain when bending?!

Question: Im only 18 and im healthy and athletic, but whenever i bend over for more than 10 seconds just for things like looking in the oven etc and then back up again there is a pain - i would say its in the lowish region of my spine, been like that for a few months now -
I should say that i click my back whenever it gets stiff i twist left until it clicks, then right until it clicks, but people say the dangers of clicking joints is just a myth?
anyone know if i should be worried or what i should do to treat it like ice packs etc?

and no i dont remember doing anything like lifting something really heavy - thanks

While the spine is supposed to turn I would not recommend clicking because it gets stiff. The reason why it gets stiff, could be inflammation, so you need to rest it. Likewise when you bend, you should be bending the knees. Have a hot shower allow the water to hit off the back and relax. Good Luck
