Broke a vein?!

Question: I think i broke a vein at the base of my pointer finger. It does not really hurt but it is like triple the side it should be. what do I do? Will it heal?

Ice it down for a while, I use a bag of frozen peas. Also, keep it elevated. I break veins in my hands all the time, it hurts and will leave a bruise, but it's not something to worry about.
