If you are retaining water, how do you get rid of it?!

Sounds crazy but you have to drink more water! Drink a ton of water and it will flush all the excess fluid out of your body tissues. Are you retaining water because of a medical reason like CHF or Renal Failure or is it just PMS or eating alot of salty food ect....If there is no medical reason, drink alot of water and or buy a diretuic from the pharmacy.

Eat bland foods for a while. Stay away from foods with a lot of sodium on the label.

Chicky is right. Your body will hang on to fluid if you dont drink enough. You can also retain if you eat too much salty foods.. Check with your doc to see if you have any other things going on.

i too was like you been retaining water for a while.
i was quite fat back then.
so i went for the slimming centre.
they found my problem that my body was retaining water.
they guide me by giving me a list of things what to do and what not to do. one things was that one hour before i go to bed in the night. i should stop drinking water so that during the night the water wont be retain in my stomach. and also before i go to bed please do go to the restroom to empty ur urine before sleep. you can try this way first. they also did said that when we drink one cup of water, we will also go to urine out the cup of water that we drink.
well as of today i have already lost twenty kgs of weight.
its total take my one and a half years to lost this weight.
i have up today still maintain this weight healthly.
