Best Pain Reliever for a Boil?!

Question: I have a boil on my upper thigh and the infection is not coming out. I have been taking baths with epsom salt in really hot water and putting Boil Ease and Triple antibiotic cream on it. What else can I do? It hurts really bad. Taking Ibuprophen also, but someone said taking alot of it is not good for you. What can I take that is not going to hurt me in the long run?

It is important to treat a boil immediately. Complications can set in if left untreated. Skin boils are extremely contagious. If the pus leaks from the boil it can spread to nearby skin and cause more boils to form. The pus can also enter the blood stream and spread the infection to other parts of your body.
We have been recommending a boil treatment for several years now. It is all natural, and many people see dramatic improvement in as little as 24 hours. That treatment is Bowtrex. Follow this link for more information on how this boil treatment will help you.

Please do not delay treating a boil. If you delay treatment and an infection sets in, you will then need to get an antibiotic.

This will help you prevent getting another::

If you are prone to skin boils, there are measures that you can take to prevent boils from developing:
Washing your skin with antibacterial soap will prevent bacteria from building up and infecting your pores.

The regular use of an abrasive brush (such as a loufa) often helps. It will help to break up oil plugs that build up around hair follicles.

This is an old grandmother cure but it really works. Place a hot boiling towel (as hot as you can stand it) on the boil and then apply sulfured 8 to it ever day. It will rise to a head and you can squeeze out the goo...

go to a dr and have them open it up, could be staph and get worse.

I knopw it is bad but I have had one and I just picked at it until it burst

You know I read an old home remedy once that said to put tomato paste on a boil and then cover with a band-aide over night and that will draw it to a head. Couldn't hurt. Sorry that's all the advice that I have.

Depending on the size of the boil you may need to go to the doctors office or hospital. I have a friend who just got one that swelled up and it turned out to be a staff infection... If nothing else you should see a doctor for effective pain medication like vicodin, because really if it's that painful that ibuprofen isn't helping, there isn't much else useful that you can take.

Epsal ointment will draw this stuff from the boil as for pain,Hot Compresses round the clock. Vanish pain ointment may help appplied directly to the wound. Cabbage leafs steeped in hot water will also draw stuff out.

I went threw the same situation about three weeks ago. My mom used to get them all the time, and she went to the doctor for them. Well, she wanted me to go get my cut out....which I was not going for. So i just put a hot wash cloth on it and just ignored it. Make sure you wear pants that make it so your legs do not rub together....even if you go buy spandex to wear underneath. Get better, what ever you do!

use this:
Campho-Phenique It will ooze all the puss out and you will use this all the time. Great use for all sorts of boils and bumps! It will be gone in one or two days. Guarantee!!!
