Can steroids help me after hernia surgery?!


Question: On Monday, I will have gone and had my third hernia surgery in 7 years. And the other day someone I knew said that if I can get prescribed steroids, that it will help my stomach muscle become stronger preventing any further ruptures from happening and also help them heal. Can steroids really help or does it make it worse? I just want to be alble to stop having so many hernias and prevent hernias in the future

No steroids will not help with that. Talk to your doctor.
