Do you have a waterbed?!

Question: Do you get a good night's sleep on it? How would you compare it to sleeping on a regular mattress? I'm particularly interested in those who suffer from chronic pain conditions like fibromyalgia or arthritis.
I can't stand being warm at night, and I'm thinking a waterbed on a very low heat setting would be just right?

I have one, and have back, neck, and shoulder problems. It takes a while to get use to sleeping on one, but i like it. Hard mattresses actually hurt me, so i like a softer one. I love being warm, but if you don't, you don't have to use the heat. You should give it a try...Good Luck :-)

I had one in high school until I put a hole in it while doing an art project.

I swear they make me sea sick-so I hate them! They are loud and "swish" every time you move. Don't bother reading or eating anything in bed because you can barely sit on one without falling over or getting knocked down by the next wave!

There are pros and cons to having one. We got rid of ours years ago. We had a full wave one. It moved alot. After we got use to it, we loved it for a while then both of our backs started bothering us. If you don't want to be warm at night then maybe a waterbed is not for you because they must be heated. You can adjust the heat but if you happen to sleep on one without the heater you will wake up with your whole body in terrible pain and it's not good for you. Been there, done that. My heater went out and didn't know it. I would try the sleep number or one of the other specialty beds. Water beds are really out of date.
