Am I deaf or what?!
Question: PLEASE HELP! An hour or so ago I was stupid and tried cleaning my ear out with a q-tip, because I didn't know what it could do. Now that ear can barely hear anything anymore! I tried using my finger as a suction, rinsing it with hot water, and nothing is working. I would use proxide, but I don't have any. Has this happened to you before? Is it it temporary (and if so, how long does it last)? Is there anything I can do to hear again?

If you stick the q tip too far in it can mess with your ear drum and cause all sorts of pain and make it difficult to hear...the best bet would be to LEAVE IT ALONE...and call your doctor...if he thinks its serious...he'll tell you to come in ASAP
You probably pushed ear wax against your eardrum. You may need to go to the doctor and have him irrigate it.
it sounds like you ruptured your eardrum from putting the q-tip to far in. this is an emergency and you should see the doctor right away.
You didn't mention it hurting really bad when you poked the Q-tip in so it's not likely you broke your eardrum.
I agree with the ear wax answer. Go to your doc and have your ear examined and cleaned out.
