Why do i get cold after drinking alcohol?!

Question: I've had this problem for a long time and am experiencing it right now. Everytime i have an alcoholic drink, a few hours later (usually when i get home) i get really cold. It feels like a 'fake' feeling of cold if you are with me because my skin is still warm, but i shiver and have to wrap myself up really warm. I get goosebumps and everything. It doesn't matter how much i drink or what i drink. I was wondering if anyone else has this or might know what is causing it? It's only been in the last few years that this has started happening.

any ideas?
Thanks

Maybe try closing the window or put some clothes on.

If the two requirements above are met, then you might be experiencing an allergic reaction to the alcohol or an ingredient in it, especially if you have a similar reaction no matter what alcoholic beverage you drink. If you have known food allergens, then you might investigate the possibility that you are allergic. I know from observation that as we get older, our bodies tend to become more sensitive to potent foods and drinks, i.e., spices, alcohols, and so forth. When I drink alcohol, my arms tend to get slightly numb so I don't do it often.

An alternative answer is, did you eat before you drank?

Alcohol dehydrates you and dehydration can cause chills and make you cold. Try drinking more water when you drink alcohol not only should it help with you feeling cold but it will prevent a hangover the next morning as well.
