make sure to undergo physiotherapy to strengthen the rotator cuff muscle, the stronger it gets, the less chances for the head of the humerus to pop out again

The chances of it popping out again aren't real high. For awhile it will be more likely to pop out until it is completely healed. I dislocated my shoulder seven years ago and it still hurts. It occasionally pops out a little. You just have to make sure it's strong before doing anything real tough with it.

Hard to say, I screwed up (dislocated) my right shoulder over 30 years ago. Sometimes if I over reach and really stretch it, I can feel it ready to pop out and once in a while it does.

I've learned how to put it back by myself, my wife always freaks when I pop it back in place. You learn to live with it, but yours may not be as bad as mine. It could totally heal and not have it ever bother you again.

Good luck, I know it hurts a bit. Also when they tell you to relax before they pop it, don't fight them. I know it's hard to relax, but it's the best thing to do.

it does make it easier, but seeing as its not that common of an injury [most people think they dislocate something but actually sublux it] it shouldnt happen again. just be aware of it and take it easy.
