You can never really predict what will happen, but I would say that if you are allergic to bees and wasps, then it is the venom that causes you to react-- but I do think that scorpion stings make most people ill-- I would just continue to carry the epi pen like you normally do--
What you should do is see if you can get another epi-pen and carry two. If you are out with someone make sure they know how to use the pen just in case. I have seen a case where the victim did not pull the safety cap prior to trying to use it so needless to say it didn't work. You may want to carry some tablets-with you as well as the epi-pen(s)
