Burstitis in left shoulder.?!
Question: i have got burstitis in my shoulder. i have had a cortozone injection that the doc gave me. but after an ultrasound he said it didnt go where it it was suposed to go. so i had to have an ultrasound guided steriod injection . i was told to keep my arm in a sling for two days which i did. but it was getting really stiff after two days so i took it off...i feel more pain than before so i will be seeing the doc again..the guy who gave me the steriod injected said i can go swimming after two days when i take the sling off, i might wait afew days first before swimmming and see what the doc says first. If you have had it what treatment did you get?.

The typical treatment we offer at our office is that the patient is placed in physical therapy. If therapy fails to offer relief, we then provide the injection. If the injection fails, we refer for MRI and discuss possible surgical intervention ...
