What is this pain in my chest?!
Question: I am a 23 year old athletic male. The pain isn't very bad, obnoxious mostly, and it makes exercise a little frustrating. It is a sharp pain at about the middle of my sternum. It only happens when I move in certain positions, mostly during stretching and exercise, especially with butterfly presses, and those sit ups where you touch your elbow to your knee, I don't know what either of those exercises are actually called. I have been experiencing this pain for long enough that I can't remember how long it's been. At least a year.

Since you are only 23 y/o, I doubt that it is heart related, however if it persists, go to a Doctor.
Your chest pain sound like a good muscle issue,/sprain/strain. If you took tylenol or aspirin does it go away? If yes it's probably muscle, if it doesn't go away..see a doc. Certain repetative muscle motions can cause muscle discomfort and straining. Don't let it go on for to long. Good luck.
Go visit ur doctor
It sounds muscular. But never play games with chest pain. See your doctor and explain the situation .
