What kind of doctor should i see for an ingrown fingernail?!

Question: Just a regular doctor. They treat all sorts of ingrown nails just at their clinics. Just letting the other person know that a podiotrist, a foot doctor, deals more with ankles, feet and the joints and other things such as flat footedness, not something as simple as an ingrown nail.
Oh and no dont see a dermatologist, they deal with skin conditions such as acne and rashes on the skin, not nails. Dont see a nail specialist because they deal with manicures ect and dont have a medical background. Just your regular GP.

i just answered this and i am wrong,i thought i read toenail. i am sorry. a podiatrist is a foot specialist. not a finger person. although they may help.

try going to a nail shop they might can help you.

A dermatologist might be able to help you. It's a sterile environment for simple procedure.

i would think a dermatologist since it has to do with your skin
