Removed ingrown toenail pain..Please help!!?!
Question: My husband had both of his toenails burned at the quicks. His left one is ok but the right one is still bothering him really bad..Is it normal to still be hurting..He had it done on Dec.6, 2007...If anybody knows please answer..

if its been hurting all along then its normal... but if it has not been bothering him and now all of a sudden it is then there is a problem... does the toe feel warm? any swelling? red/ pink in color? any discharge? fever? these are all signs of infection that need medical attention... Usually for our patients with this problem we rub some Bacitracin which is a creme that kills bacterias.... the best bet is to put it on before going to bed... lather it on! and in the morning he should notice some relief... if not then a call to the dr. wouldnt hurt.
