Anyone with Arachnoiditis? (Has nothing to do with spiders)?!

Question: Those who have it or know anyone who has it knows what I'm talking about. But, if you or anyone you know has it, how did you/they get it and how was it diagnosed? If this is what I have, then I got it from and epidural having my first son. The ani gave me the epidural and hit a nerve and that was the worst feeling I've ever felt and for a long time I never wanted to have another child because of it. I had a c-section and would have to and did have another epidural for the next c-section. The next child, he did a wonderful job and it didn't hurt at all! But right after my first son, I started having twitching, numbness, pain and other sensations around my left shoulder blade. The pins and needles, electrical sensation and cold water feeling dripping down my back happen along the sides of my spine up and down and on both sides. Over the years it has gotten worse and I have burning in my feet and paresthesias and fasciculations all over the rest of various parts of my body. I hate it!

I hope you've been to a neurologist. If not, Monday is the day to make the appointment.
I am particularly concerned about the fasciculations.
It is very strange to me that your shoulder would behave this way, considering the epidural was much lower in your spine. I doubt they are related.
As far as the arachnoiditis, didn't anyone give you an anti-inflammatory? Just another thing to ask the neurologist about.
Make sure he/she does a very thorough neurological exam.
