no matter what pain scale you're on, you have pain! ahahha. anyway, i think it's inflammation from overuse, or poor warm-up/stretching routine before your activity. if it's on the inside of your elbow, it's called "medial epicondylitis", if it's on the outside of your elbow, it's "lateral epicondylitis". google those terms up and see if it matches any of your symptoms. usually the recommended course of treatment is to let it calm down for weeks, ice it as much as possible, ibuprofen/motrin or aleve can help, and if you have an elbow sleeve to keep it compressed, that can help. once it calms down, you may need to do better stretching in the elbow before your exercise. i'm not sure it's ligaments, just tendonitis. at any rate, since we can't examine you, i suggest getting it checked out by an orthopaedist. cortisone injections are usually offered to treat this, but only in severe, long term cases, and besides you're young (i assume) so i doubt it'll be an option. good luck!

try cold pacs on it and them maybe some sort of penetrating salve at night. Pain is a very individual thing. usual question asked is " on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being no pain and 10 the worst pain you have ever had , how do you rate your pain" what may be a 10 to you may only be a 3 to me, if there was a way to measure it, or could be the other way around. we all have a different pain threshold so it is a very personal thing
