If you have had a Tetnus jab within the last 2 years, then you are fine and won't have to go in, If you haven't had an injection in a long while, then you will need to get one, but you could wait until tomorrow to go to a "walk in" clinic. Don't go to the ER (casualty) for that. :-) Also, just call a nurse/doctor/health department and ask them the time frame/instances that require a tetnus shot.
good luck.

it is important you seek medical advice i sugest you get down the drop in clinic

Dont worry, mine used to bite me all the time....i'm still here

I would get you hamster a tetanus jab straight away....

you should not need to go to a doctor. just clean it properly. no tetanus required.

take a look at this link if your worried about it.

I took my mum to casualty when the gerbil did the same thing to her. They said I had done the right thing.

No, tetanus shot not required... but I would make sure you don't have a rabid hamster... kidding.

See your GP and get a tetanus jab. It's just not animal bites that can infect you. You can pick up the infection from animal dung and even garden soil. An aunt of mine got tetanus by getting pricked with dirty broomstick. If you haven't had a tetanus jab before get one now and in a few years time you will need another booster jab.
