Tongue piercing how much does it hurt?!
Question: hey iv broke up with my boyfriend yesterday and want a freash start now.... tomora im going blonde agen, and im thinking of gettin my Tongue pierced how much does it hurt like to gettin your belly done?

I had mine done years ago.
They do it the same way as they do your belly buton with the big massive needle thing and they hold your tongue still with tongs!
You know when you bite your tongue and it brings tears to your eyes? Well it ISN'T like that.
Your tongue swells up and feels uncomfortable, it aches for about a week - particularly after you've been talking or eating and the first bar they put in is massive so it takes ages to get used to talking and eating without biting it.
All said and done though, I loved my tongue piercing. I kept it in for about 3 years until I had a baby. Worth the pain, didn't stop me from getting a good job and can be hidden (once you're used to it) if necessary.

ps. you will lisp a bit for a few weeks!
are you what on earth do you want a tongue piercing for they are awful

Well i dont have my tongue pierced but my kids do ,and they say its like when you bite your tongue it hurts for a few minutes and than the pain is gone...I wish you the best.
Depends on your pain threshold but it didnt hurt me until a day or so later then it swelled up massive and hurt for about a week. It was worth it though. It is a different pain to belly piercing.
I had mine done twice. The first time was so sore I thought I would die but when I had it done the second time it did not hurt at all. I think it was because the first time I had anaesthetic and the second they just stuck the needle through.
it doesn't hurt as much as your belly button
Don't do it hun, it's just not worth it!!!!!
I think if your doing this as a 'break up' thing...you want to be 100% sure!!
I thought it was painful but was quick, (the actually piercing process)
The 2 weeks after were tough, eating was hard, talking was hard, you do have to peservere!!
dont have a tounge piercing its sooooooooooooooooo unnatractive for a guy to snog a fit woman with a tongue piercing
Tongue piercingis very dangerous and you could end up with impaired speech or a speech impediment.
