How do I wake myself up in the morning?!

Question: Every Monday through Friday I get up at 6am to go to class. Then I have work later that evening and get home at about 1am. I'm having a really hard time waking up and I feel tired the rest of the day. Is there anything I can do to energize myself throughout the day?

How long has this routine been going on? If it's new, your body is adapting. If you fall off the schedule on weekends, your internal clock will always be unregulated.

Your body is telling you that you are not getting enough sleep hrs. You should know how many you personally need to feel rested. It varies from p2p but at least 8 hrs is a must.

Take a power nap to catch up during the day. A power nap is no longer than 20 mins. After 20 mins., you get into deep sleep mode and you will wake up more tired than before the nap. You can do this even 2x a day if needed, 20 mins each.

Eat properly and good foods, cut junk, sugar and caffeine - they make you sluggish.

Maybe you could hire someone to throw a bucket of cold water over you every morning?
Or do what the rest of the human population does and buy an alarm clock.
For the energy thing i suggest you sleep more, the hours your doing aren't healthy and its gonna be almost impossible to keep on doing them.

I have a similar sleep schedule , so I bought this awesome alarm close that looks like a globe. It takes a half hour to gradually lights up the room. at the end of the half hour, when the light is the brightest, a sound alarm goes off. you body naturally response to the light and becomes easier to wake up in a lighted room . it is also not a shocking way to wake up...I often wake up before the alarm sounds.

You can go to amazon and just search "light alarm clocks" The one I have is a Bio-Bright Digital sunrise clock. there are many models in different prices, and there are many other brands of light alarm clocks you can search too. try it out, it's worth a try

dude your probably getting like 3 hours of sleep a night. that is not at all healthy. your body needs 7 hours of sleep every single night and at least 5 or 6 or your going to have serious problems.
you n eed to drop a couple of your early classes and tell your boss to send you home 2 hours early. do it for your body. your all u got bro.
